Today, let’s see how we create artefacts with a step by step process:
- valentinseiche is sketching the whole design. Each artefact is designed as a “tiny world”, and has its own level-design. Each weapon has its influences linked to the lore of the curse with wich it’s linked!
2. We’ll have different types of metal (iron, copper…) and “biomes” for each weapon!
@2Pblog1 and AAA work on in-game sprites. They adapt a bit the level-design and each element of the biome (rocks, shells, grass..) is carefully created by hand!
3. And here is the result! (still wip). The goal is to have an artefact with a lot of personality and a rich level design to push players trying new things/tools/ways of cleaning! Each artefact in the game will have something unique. Zero copy-paste from one to another.
4. Finally, the weapon is cleaned! Enjoy!
